Designated Teacher for Looked After Children (DLAC)
Our DLAC is Mr Gates.
Their role is dedicated to ensuring that every Looked After Child in our school receives the support they need to thrive. They work on promoting high aspirations, safeguarding wellbeing, and removing barriers to learning. The DLAC works closely with carers, social workers, and the Virtual School to provide tailored academic and pastoral support, ensuring each child has the best possible opportunities.
